|Dec. 17, 2017 1:35 PM PT2:35 PM MT3:35 PM CT4:35 PM ET21:35 GMT5:35 2:35 PM MST4:35 PM EST3:35 PM CT1:35 UAE (+1)16:35 ETNaN: - Tyrod Taylor was 17 of 29 for 224 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 24-16 win over the Miami Dolphins. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked two times. Taylor added 42 rushing yards on six carries and scored one touchdown on the ground.
Analysis: Taylor returned after missing one game with a bruised knee. He's clearly the best quarterback option in Buffalo, but not necessarily for your fantasy team unless he's going to running the ball like he did in this one.
|Dec. 6, 2017 6:43 AM PT7:43 AM MT8:43 AM CT9:43 AM ET14:43 GMT22:43 7:43 AM MST9:43 AM EST8:43 AM CT18:43 UAE9:43 ETNaN: - Taylor will start against the Dolphins on Sunday.
Analysis: Taylor, who did not play last week because of a bruised patellar tendon in his left knee, hasn't been a terrible option at QB, throwing just four interceptions in 12 games, but has very little upside. He is averaging just 174.2 passing yards and has only three games with multiple TD passes.
|Dec. 4, 2017 9:43 AM PT10:43 AM MT11:43 AM CT12:43 PM ET17:43 GMT1:43 10:43 AM MST12:43 PM EST11:43 AM CT21:43 UAE12:43 ETNaN: - Taylor has a bruised patellar tendon in his left knee, leaving his status uncertain for Buffalo's game against Indianapolis on Sunday.
Analysis: Coach Sean McDermott listed Taylor as day to day on Monday and says he will remain the team's starter should he be healthy enough to play this week. McDermott told The Associated Press that Taylor's knee is very sore and the injury became progressively worse as he continued playing on it during a 23-3 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday. Taylor was hurt on the first play from scrimmage, and played through the first minute of the fourth quarter before coming out.
|Dec. 3, 2017 1:54 PM PT2:54 PM MT3:54 PM CT4:54 PM ET21:54 GMT5:54 2:54 PM MST4:54 PM EST3:54 PM CT1:54 UAE (+1)16:54 ETNaN: - Tyrod Taylor was 9 of 18 for 65 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 23-3 loss to the New England Patriots. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked three times. Taylor added 32 rushing yards on three carries.
Analysis: Taylor was carted to the locker room with a knee injury and wasn't effective when he was in there. One has to wonder if, even if he's healthy, Taylor has taken his last snap for the Bills.
|Nov. 26, 2017 12:48 PM PT1:48 PM MT2:48 PM CT3:48 PM ET20:48 GMT4:48 1:48 PM MST3:48 PM EST2:48 PM CT0:48 UAE (+1)15:48 ETNaN: - Tyrod Taylor was 19 of 29 for 183 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 16-10 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked two times. Taylor added 27 rushing yards on nine carries.
Analysis: Taylor really isn't a fantasy option unless he's rushing for a score. He had run for a touchdown in three of his previous four games before this one. He'll start again in Week 13.
|Nov. 22, 2017 8:59 AM PT9:59 AM MT10:59 AM CT11:59 AM ET16:59 GMT0:59 9:59 AM MST11:59 AM EST10:59 AM CT20:59 UAE11:59 ETNaN: - Taylor is the Bills' starter again this week at Kansas City after Nathan Peterman's disastrous debut.
Analysis: Taylor should be extra motivated to play well this week and Kansas City's pass defense was in bad shape until facing Eli Manning and a stiff breeze last week.
|Nov. 19, 2017 4:21 PM PT5:21 PM MT6:21 PM CT7:21 PM ET0:21 GMT8:21 5:21 PM MST7:21 PM EST6:21 PM CT4:21 UAE (+1)19:21 ETNaN: - Tyrod Taylor was 15 of 25 for 158 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 54-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He did not throw an interception, fumbled once and was sacked one time. Taylor added 38 rushing yards on four carries and scored one touchdown on the ground.
Analysis: The just-demoted quarterback played the entire second half after Nathan Peterman completely bombed his NFL starting audition and delivered a good stat line for two quarters of work, though the lopsided score had something to do with that. Taylor figures to be back under center next week at Kansas City, as he still gives the best chance to win. That's still not a certainly, however, as winning may not be the team's primary objective right now.
|Nov. 15, 2017 6:02 AM PT7:02 AM MT8:02 AM CT9:02 AM ET14:02 GMT22:02 7:02 AM MST9:02 AM EST8:02 AM CT18:02 UAE9:02 ETNaN: - Taylor has been benched and the Buffalo Bills are going with rookie quarterback Nathan Peterman to start against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
Analysis: Though McDermott says he remains confident in Taylor, he decided to make the move to see if Peterman can make Buffalo a better team. That's a significant change of heart for McDermott, who maintained Taylor was the team's starter following a 47-10 loss to New Orleans last weekend and again on Monday. The decision comes after Taylor struggled against the Saints, going 9 of 15 for 56 yards and an interception.
|Nov. 12, 2017 1:29 PM PT2:29 PM MT3:29 PM CT4:29 PM ET21:29 GMT5:29 2:29 PM MST4:29 PM EST3:29 PM CT1:29 UAE (+1)16:29 ETNaN: - Tyrod Taylor was 9 of 18 for 56 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 47-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked two times. Taylor added 27 rushing yards on three carries.
Analysis: Taylor was having a solidly under-the-radar fantasy season before this one. He still only has 10 touchdown passes this season.
|Nov. 2, 2017 8:23 PM PT9:23 PM MT10:23 PM CT11:23 PM ET3:23 GMT11:23 8:23 PM MST10:23 PM EST9:23 PM CT7:23 UAE (+1)23:23 ETNaN: - Tyrod Taylor was 29 of 40 for 285 yards and threw two touchdown passes Thursday in the Buffalo Bills' 34-21 loss to the New York Jets. He did not throw an interception, fumbled once and was sacked seven times. Taylor added 35 rushing yards on six carries and scored one touchdown on the ground.
Analysis: Taylor's final numbers look very good but almost all his production came with the game already decided. He had three scores for the first time this season and set a season high with 285 passing yards. Taylor was sacked seven time so the loss wasn't all his fault and he'll get another weapon next week against the Saints when new receiver Kelvin Benjamin debuts.
|Oct. 29, 2017 1:22 PM PT2:22 PM MT3:22 PM CT4:22 PM ET20:22 GMT4:22 1:22 PM MST3:22 PM EST2:22 PM CT0:22 UAE (+1)16:22 ETNaN: - Tyrod Taylor was 20 of 27 for 165 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 34-14 win over the Oakland Raiders. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was not sacked. Taylor added one rushing yard on six carries and scored one touchdown on the ground.
Analysis: Taylor saved his fantasy day with a rushing touchdown. He may not be putting up huge numbers, but he is taking care of the football with eight passing touchdowns and only two picks on the season.
|Oct. 22, 2017 2:21 PM PT3:21 PM MT4:21 PM CT5:21 PM ET21:21 GMT5:21 2:21 PM MST4:21 PM EST4:21 PM CT1:21 UAE (+1)17:21 ETNaN: - Tyrod Taylor was 20 of 33 for 268 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 30-27 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked one time. Taylor added 53 rushing yards on six carries.
Analysis: Taylor set a season high for passing yards and fell two rushing yards shy of tying his season best. He's attempted over 30 passes in each of the last two games after not doing so in the first four.
|Oct. 8, 2017 1:18 PM PT2:18 PM MT3:18 PM CT4:18 PM ET20:18 GMT4:18 1:18 PM MST3:18 PM EST3:18 PM CT0:18 UAE (+1)16:18 ETNaN: - Tyrod Taylor was 20 of 37 for 166 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 20-16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked six times. Taylor added three rushing yards on one carry.
Analysis: Taylor had an average of just 4.49 yards per attempt and completed a season-low 54.1 percent of his passes. The Bills have their bye next week.
|Oct. 1, 2017 1:42 PM PT2:42 PM MT3:42 PM CT4:42 PM ET20:42 GMT4:42 1:42 PM MST3:42 PM EST3:42 PM CT0:42 UAE (+1)16:42 ETNaN: - Tyrod Taylor was 12 of 20 for 182 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 23-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked three times. Taylor added 12 rushing yards on seven carries.
Analysis: Taylor isn't going to put up eye-popping numbers, but he's playing with great efficiency and could be a good start some weeks.
|Sep. 24, 2017 1:10 PM PT2:10 PM MT3:10 PM CT4:10 PM ET20:10 GMT4:10 1:10 PM MST3:10 PM EST3:10 PM CT0:10 UAE (+1)16:10 ETNaN: - Tyrod Taylor was 20 of 26 for 213 yards and threw two touchdown passes Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 26-16 win over the Denver Broncos. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked four times. Taylor added 13 rushing yards on eight carries.|
|Sep. 17, 2017 12:49 PM PT1:49 PM MT2:49 PM CT3:49 PM ET19:49 GMT3:49 12:49 PM MST2:49 PM EST2:49 PM CT23:49 UAE15:49 ETNaN: - Tyrod Taylor was 17 of 25 for 125 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 9-3 loss to the Carolina Panthers. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked three times. Taylor added 55 rushing yards on eight carries.
Analysis: With his 9-yard completion on the opening drive, Taylor moved into seventh place on the team's all-time passing yards list, passing Dennis Shaw (6,286). Taylor now has 6,291 passing yards.
|Sep. 10, 2017 1:50 PM PT2:50 PM MT3:50 PM CT4:50 PM ET20:50 GMT4:50 1:50 PM MST3:50 PM EST3:50 PM CT0:50 UAE (+1)16:50 ETNaN: - Taylor was 16 of 28 for 224 yards with two TDs and an interception and the new-look Bills beat the New York Jets 21-12 on Sunday in Sean McDermott's debut as Buffalo's coach.
Analysis: Taylor looked pretty good for a guy who missed time with a concussion in the preseason. He also added eight carries for 38 yards.
|Sep. 6, 2017 8:06 AM PT9:06 AM MT10:06 AM CT11:06 AM ET15:06 GMT23:06 8:06 AM MST10:06 AM EST10:06 AM CT19:06 UAE11:06 ETNaN: - Taylor has cleared concussion protocol and will start Week 1 vs. the Jets.
Analysis: Taylor passed his final concussion-related test after returning to practice on Monday. He has been out since being hurt during the second series of Buffalo's 13-9 preseason loss at Baltimore on Aug. 26.
|Aug. 26, 2017 4:00 PM PT5:00 PM MT6:00 PM CT7:00 PM ET23:00 GMT7:00 4:00 PM MST6:00 PM EST6:00 PM CT3:00 UAE (+1)19:00 ETNaN: - Taylor left a preseason game on Saturday night against Baltimore in the first quarter after suffering a concussion.
Analysis: Taylor was forced out on the Bills' second series after getting sacked. He was helped from the field by team trainers and was evaluated for a head injury.
|Aug. 18, 2017 10:02 AM PT11:02 AM MT12:02 PM CT1:02 PM ET17:02 GMT1:02 10:02 AM MST12:02 PM EST12:02 PM CT21:02 UAE13:02 ETNaN: - Taylor was 8 of 18 for 53 yards and two interceptions in Thursday's preseason loss to the Eagles.
Analysis: This performance did nothing to shake the notion that Taylor's job as the Bills' No. 1 quarterback is far from safe. Granted, he'll start the season opener, but if he continues performing as he has in the preseason, T.J. Yates could soon take over under center.
|Aug. 10, 2017 7:51 PM PT8:51 PM MT9:51 PM CT10:51 PM ET2:51 GMT10:51 7:51 PM MST9:51 PM EST9:51 PM CT6:51 UAE (+1)22:51 ETNaN: - Taylor played three series and hit 5 of 8 attempts for 46 yards in Thursday's preseason opener, and voided a scare when he came up limping after Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen fell on him for a 6-yard sack on Buffalo's opening drive.
Analysis: Taylor completed the series and was evaluated under a tent on the sideline before being cleared to return. He showed no signs of being hurt three plays later when he scrambled away from Griffen and Danielle Hunter before running out of bounds for a 2-yard gain.
|Mar. 8, 2017 10:15 AM PT11:15 AM MT12:15 PM CT1:15 PM ET18:15 GMT2:15 11:15 AM MST1:15 PM EST12:15 PM CT22:15 UAE13:15 ETNaN: - Taylor will remain the Buffalo Bills starter after the team announced it has restructured the player's five-year contract extension.
Analysis: The team revealed the news in a press release issued Wednesday, a day before the NFL's free-agency period began. The Bills had until Saturday to determine whether to pick up the extension Taylor signed in August or part ways with the two-year starter.
