Analysis: Bell got a few less touches than usual and had an apparent touchdown taken away on a reversal, keeping him out of the end zone for the third time in four games. Still averaging nearly 120 yards from scrimmage per game, he's one of a select group of running backs that doesn't need to score to make a big fantasy impact.
|Nov. 12, 2017 1:51 PM PT2:51 PM MT3:51 PM CT4:51 PM ET21:51 GMT5:51 2:51 PM MST4:51 PM EST3:51 PM CT1:51 UAE (+1)16:51 ETNaN: - Le'Veon Bell ran for 80 yards on 26 carries Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 20-17 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He added five receptions for 32 yards.
Analysis: Bell is under 4.0 yards per carry on the season, but his receiving totals still make him one of fantasy's best threats.
|Oct. 29, 2017 8:20 PM PT9:20 PM MT10:20 PM CT11:20 PM ET3:20 GMT11:20 8:20 PM MST10:20 PM EST9:20 PM CT7:20 UAE (+1)23:20 ETNaN: - Le'Veon Bell ran for 76 yards and one touchdown on 25 carries Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 20-15 win over the Detroit Lions. He added two receptions for five yards and fumbled once.
Analysis: This wasn't Bell's best game but he kept some drives alive and went over 75 yards for the fifth time this season. After totaling 180 yards in his first three games, Bell has averaged 116 yards in his last five games. The Steelers have some very winnable games coming up (Colts, Titans, Rodgers-less Packers) so Bell should be able to rack up some big yardage.
|Oct. 22, 2017 4:28 PM PT5:28 PM MT6:28 PM CT7:28 PM ET23:28 GMT7:28 4:28 PM MST6:28 PM EST6:28 PM CT3:28 UAE (+1)19:28 ETNaN: - Le'Veon Bell ran for 134 yards on 35 carries Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 29-14 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He added three receptions for 58 yards.
Analysis: Producing at least 186 yards from scrimmage for the third time in four weeks, Bell is unquestionably put himself back into elite fantasy territory after a somewhat slow start to the season. He's had 25 touches or more in all four of those games as well, and the Steelers don't figure to lessen his workload any time soon with the way he's rolling.
|Oct. 15, 2017 7:11 PM PT8:11 PM MT9:11 PM CT10:11 PM ET2:11 GMT10:11 7:11 PM MST9:11 PM EST9:11 PM CT6:11 UAE (+1)22:11 ETNaN: - Le'Veon Bell ran for 179 yards and one touchdown on 32 carries Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 19-13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He added three receptions for 12 yards.
Analysis: Bell delivered a repeat performance of his play against the Chiefs in the division playoff after last season. In January, Bell rushed for 170 yards as the Steelers knocked the Chiefs out of the postseason, 18-16. He has carried 82 times for 370 yards and three TDs in his last three games.
|Oct. 8, 2017 3:46 PM PT4:46 PM MT5:46 PM CT6:46 PM ET22:46 GMT6:46 3:46 PM MST5:46 PM EST5:46 PM CT2:46 UAE (+1)18:46 ETNaN: - Le'Veon Bell ran for 47 yards on 15 carries Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 30-9 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. 46 yards.
Analysis: The Jaguars came into the game last in rushing yards allowed, giving up an average of 165 per game. Pittsburgh managed just 70 on 20 carries, with Bell mustering a disappointing total.
|Oct. 1, 2017 3:31 PM PT4:31 PM MT5:31 PM CT6:31 PM ET22:31 GMT6:31 3:31 PM MST5:31 PM EST5:31 PM CT2:31 UAE (+1)18:31 ETNaN: - Le'Veon Bell ran for 144 yards and two touchdowns on 35 carries Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 26-9 win over the Baltimore Ravens. He added four receptions for 42 yards.
Analysis: This should ease the concerns over those who may have been fretting over Bell's training-camp holdout and subsequent slow start. After averaging just 60 rushing yards and scoring only one TD through the first three weeks, the star running back was back in top form while finishing with the second-highest rushing attempts of his career. It's a reaffirmation that he's a fantasy must-start every time he takes the field.
|Sep. 24, 2017 4:47 PM PT5:47 PM MT6:47 PM CT7:47 PM ET23:47 GMT7:47 4:47 PM MST6:47 PM EST6:47 PM CT3:47 UAE (+1)19:47 ETNaN: - Le'Veon Bell ran for 61 yards and one touchdown on 15 carries Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 23-17 loss to the Chicago Bears. He added six receptions for 37 yards.
Analysis: Bell, who continues to work his way back after missing the preseason, has run for 148 yards and a touchdown on 42 attempts over the past two games.
|Sep. 17, 2017 1:21 PM PT2:21 PM MT3:21 PM CT4:21 PM ET20:21 GMT4:21 1:21 PM MST3:21 PM EST3:21 PM CT0:21 UAE (+1)16:21 ETNaN: - Le'Veon Bell ran for 87 yards on 27 carries Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 26-9 win over the Minnesota Vikings. He added four receptions for four yards.
Analysis: Bell looked more explosive as a runner Sunday, but he didn't get much going in the passing game. The Steelers need their star back to get up to speed quickly.
|Sep. 10, 2017 1:25 PM PT2:25 PM MT3:25 PM CT4:25 PM ET20:25 GMT4:25 1:25 PM MST3:25 PM EST3:25 PM CT0:25 UAE (+1)16:25 ETNaN: - Le'Veon Bell ran for 32 yards on 10 carries Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 21-18 win over the Cleveland Browns. He added three receptions for 15 yards.
Analysis: Bell's 47 yards from scrimmage were the fewest of his career. Perhaps that contract holdout did prohibit him from showing up ready to roll.
|Sep. 1, 2017 8:35 AM PT9:35 AM MT10:35 AM CT11:35 AM ET15:35 GMT23:35 8:35 AM MST10:35 AM EST10:35 AM CT19:35 UAE11:35 ETNaN: - Bell ended his holdout Friday, reporting to the Pittsburgh Steelers' facility just before noon ET.
Analysis: Bell skipped training camp and all four preseason games in a contract dispute sparked when the two sides failed on an 11th-hour attempt for a long-term contract agreement July 15. That deadline-date offer was a five-year deal and reportedly would have paid Bell more than any running back in the NFL, including guaranteed him at least $37 million in the first three years of the deal. Under the terms of the NFL's franchise tag structure, Bell will be paid $12.120 million.
|July 17, 2017 12:49 PM PT1:49 PM MT2:49 PM CT3:49 PM ET19:49 GMT3:49 12:49 PM MST2:49 PM EST2:49 PM CT23:49 UAE15:49 ETNaN: - Bell will play the 2017 season on a $12.1 million franchise tender after he and the Steelers could not come to an agreement on a long-term contract prior to Monday's deadline.
Analysis: Bell is unquestionably one of the league's best all-purpose backs, though the fact that he's missed 14 games over the past two seasons due to injuries or suspensions likely made the Steelers hesitant to agree to a multi-year commitment. The 25-year-old is coming off an excellent 2016 campaign in which he led the NFL in scrimmage yards per game (157.0) and scored nine touchdowns in 12 games.
|Feb. 27, 2017 12:27 PM PT1:27 PM MT2:27 PM CT3:27 PM ET20:27 GMT4:27 1:27 PM MST3:27 PM EST2:27 PM CT0:27 UAE (+1)15:27 ETNaN: - The Steelers have placed the exclusive franchise tag on Bell, meaning no other team can sign him.
Analysis: Under the franchise tag, he will receive a straight salary that is projected to be just over $12 million. That salary becomes guaranteed once Bell signs the contract, but the two sides still have until July 15 to come to terms on a multi-year deal.
|Feb. 22, 2017 12:33 PM PT1:33 PM MT2:33 PM CT3:33 PM ET20:33 GMT4:33 1:33 PM MST3:33 PM EST2:33 PM CT0:33 UAE (+1)15:33 ETNaN: - Bell, who was forced out of the AFC championship game because of a groin injury, is not expected to need surgery, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported Wednesday.
Analysis: Bell rushed just six times for 20 yards during the Steelers' 36-17 loss in the AFC title game to the Patriots. After the game, Bell admitted to reporters that he managed the groin injury for "a couple weeks" and aggravated it against the Patriots.
