Analysis: Anderson gained 61 yards to top 1,000 for the first time in his five years with the Broncos. He got there with a very strong final three games, totaling 307 yards on 64 carries.
|Dec. 24, 2017 4:02 PM PT5:02 PM MT6:02 PM CT7:02 PM ET0:02 GMT8:02 5:02 PM MST7:02 PM EST6:02 PM CT4:02 UAE (+1)19:02 ETNaN: - Anderson ran for 88 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 27-11 loss to the Washington Redskins. He added seven receptions for 45 yards.
Analysis: Anderson has 35 total fantasy points in the last two games, which was a nice treat for his fantasy owners. He also set a season high with those 45 receiving yards.
|Dec. 14, 2017 8:39 PM PT9:39 PM MT10:39 PM CT11:39 PM ET4:39 GMT12:39 9:39 PM MST11:39 PM EST10:39 PM CT8:39 UAE23:39 ETNaN: - Anderson ran for 158 yards on 30 carries Thursday in the Denver Broncos' 25-13 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Analysis: This is the third-highest rushing game in Anderson's career. He also has at least 10 fantasy points in two of the last three games.
|Dec. 10, 2017 5:46 PM PT6:46 PM MT7:46 PM CT8:46 PM ET1:46 GMT9:46 6:46 PM MST8:46 PM EST7:46 PM CT5:46 UAE (+1)20:46 ETNaN: - C.J. Anderson ran for 48 yards on 22 carries Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 23-0 win over the New York Jets. He added two receptions for 25 yards.
Analysis: Anderson probably remains the best backfield option for the Broncos, but is nothing more than a flex option in fantasy for those in the playoffs who own him.
|Dec. 3, 2017 1:48 PM PT2:48 PM MT3:48 PM CT4:48 PM ET21:48 GMT5:48 2:48 PM MST4:48 PM EST3:48 PM CT1:48 UAE (+1)16:48 ETNaN: - C.J. Anderson ran for 67 yards on 15 carries Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 35-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins. He added four receptions for 43 yards.
Analysis: Anderson was better after having a meager 116 rushing yards and a touchdown on 37 carries over the previous four games.
|Nov. 26, 2017 6:45 PM PT7:45 PM MT8:45 PM CT9:45 PM ET2:45 GMT10:45 7:45 PM MST9:45 PM EST8:45 PM CT6:45 UAE (+1)21:45 ETNaN: - C.J. Anderson ran for 12 yards on five carries Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 21-14 loss to the Oakland Raiders.
Analysis: Anderson now has a meager 116 rushing yards and a touchdown on 37 carries over the slumping Broncos' last four games. The good news is that Devontae Booker wasn't any better on Sunday. Denver's offense is a complete mess at the moment, making neither back of much use for fantasy players.
|Nov. 19, 2017 6:15 PM PT7:15 PM MT8:15 PM CT9:15 PM ET2:15 GMT10:15 7:15 PM MST9:15 PM EST8:15 PM CT6:15 UAE (+1)21:15 ETNaN: - C.J. Anderson ran for 37 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 20-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. He added two receptions for 19 yards and fumbled once.
Analysis: Anderson did reach the end zone for the first time since Week 2 but got four less touches than backfield mate Devontae Booker, who outgained the veteran 98-56 in yards from scrimmage. With a mere 104 rushing yards and an average of 3.3 yards per carry over the last three weeks, Anderson would be an extremely risky fantasy choice even as a flex player.
|Nov. 13, 2017 9:57 PM PT10:57 PM MT11:57 PM CT12:57 AM ET5:57 GMT13:57 10:57 PM MST12:57 AM EST11:57 PM CT9:57 UAE0:57 ETNaN: - C.J. Anderson ran for 54 yards on 10 carries Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 41-16 loss to the New England Patriots. He added one reception for one yards.
Analysis: Anderson's fade into fantasy mediocrity continues. A rock-solid starter through the season's first quarter, he's since managed just 206 yards on 53 carries with no touchdowns during Denver's current five-game losing streak. With the less expensive Devontae Booker a candidate for more work if the Broncos continue to fall out of the race, Anderson's outlook the rest of the way doesn't look promising.
|Nov. 8, 2017 2:14 PM PT3:14 PM MT4:14 PM CT5:14 PM ET22:14 GMT6:14 3:14 PM MST5:14 PM EST4:14 PM CT2:14 UAE (+1)17:14 ETNaN: - Anderson was limited in Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury and did not practice Thursday because, reportedly, he was ill.
Analysis: Anderson got hurt last Sunday in Philadelphia and was limited to nine carries. This week, the Broncos face a New England team allowing a league-worst 5.06 yards per carry. Regardless what is wrong with Anderson's body and how bad the Pats are against the run, he might be a questionable fantasy play while part of Denver's running back-by-committee attack.
|Nov. 5, 2017 10:26 AM PT11:26 AM MT12:26 PM CT1:26 PM ET18:26 GMT2:26 11:26 AM MST1:26 PM EST12:26 PM CT22:26 UAE13:26 ETNaN: - C.J. Anderson ran for 13 yards on nine carries Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 51-23 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Analysis: Anderson suffered some kind of ankle injury against the Eagles, but he returned to the contest.
|Oct. 31, 2017 9:15 PM PT10:15 PM MT11:15 PM CT12:15 AM ET4:15 GMT12:15 9:15 PM MST11:15 PM EST10:15 PM CT8:15 UAE0:15 ETNaN: - C.J. Anderson ran for 78 yards on 15 carries Monday in the Denver Broncos' 29-19 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He added one reception for seven yards.
Analysis: Anderson's 15 carries were his most in three weeks and he averaged a season-high 5.2 yards per carry. Denver's QB situations is a big problem right now with Trevor Siemian possibly being replaced this week as the starter. That could end up meaning more carries for Anderson as the Broncos rely more on their rushing attack.
|Oct. 22, 2017 4:11 PM PT5:11 PM MT6:11 PM CT7:11 PM ET23:11 GMT7:11 4:11 PM MST6:11 PM EST6:11 PM CT3:11 UAE (+1)19:11 ETNaN: - C.J. Anderson ran for 44 yards on 10 carries Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 21-0 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He added one reception for 17 yards.
Analysis: Anderson simply isn't a good fantasy option right now as he's totaled 61 yards and no touchdowns on 19 carries over the past two games.
|Oct. 15, 2017 8:54 PM PT9:54 PM MT10:54 PM CT11:54 PM ET3:54 GMT11:54 8:54 PM MST10:54 PM EST10:54 PM CT7:54 UAE (+1)23:54 ETNaN: - C.J. Anderson ran for 17 yards on nine carries Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 23-10 loss to the New York Giants.
Analysis: Anderson was a non-factor in this contest after the Broncos fell behind early. He's likely to be hit-or-miss throughout most of the season.
|Oct. 1, 2017 7:01 PM PT8:01 PM MT9:01 PM CT10:01 PM ET2:01 GMT10:01 7:01 PM MST9:01 PM EST9:01 PM CT6:01 UAE (+1)22:01 ETNaN: - C.J. Anderson ran for 95 yards on 20 carries Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 16-10 win over the Oakland Raiders. He added four receptions for 17 yards.
Analysis: After receiving a light workload last week in Buffalo, Anderson reached the 20-touch mark for the third time in four games. The talk of Jamaal Charles cutting into his playing time should subside after his counterpart got just five carries in this one. Though Anderson hasn't put up eye-popping numbers the past two weeks, he's still a low-floor fantasy option at the running back position.
|Sep. 24, 2017 1:01 PM PT2:01 PM MT3:01 PM CT4:01 PM ET20:01 GMT4:01 1:01 PM MST3:01 PM EST3:01 PM CT0:01 UAE (+1)16:01 ETNaN: - C.J. Anderson ran for 36 yards on eight carries Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 26-16 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He added two receptions for seven yards.
Analysis: This was a disappointment after Anderson rushed for 199 in the first two games.
|Sep. 17, 2017 7:18 PM PT8:18 PM MT9:18 PM CT10:18 PM ET2:18 GMT10:18 7:18 PM MST9:18 PM EST9:18 PM CT6:18 UAE (+1)22:18 ETNaN: - C.J. Anderson ran for 118 yards and one touchdown on 25 carries Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 42-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys. He added three receptions for 36 yards and one touchdown.
Analysis: Anderson had a field day on an afternoon when the Broncos dominated time of possession and has proven he's clearly over the knee injury that prematurely ended his 2016 campaign. With back-to-back games of 20-plus touches to begin the season, he should be locked into fantasy lineups right now.
|Sep. 12, 2017 12:46 AM PT1:46 AM MT2:46 AM CT3:46 AM ET7:46 GMT15:46 12:46 AM MST2:46 AM EST2:46 AM CT11:46 UAE3:46 ETNaN: - Anderson had 81 rushing yards on 20 carries while adding one catch for seven yards in the Broncos' 24-21 win over San Diego in Monday night's season opener.
Analysis: Anderson looked no worse for wear after having his 2016 campaign cut short by a knee injury last October. The Broncos are going to run the ball a lot if the situation calls for it, giving him a good chance at a first 1,000-yard season if he's able to stay healthy. The 26-year-old does draw a potentially difficult matchup next week against a Dallas defense that held the Giants to 35 rushing yards in its opener.
