Analysis: Hyde could have some value now that Jimmy Garoppolo is quarterbacking and opponents have to respect the passing game more.

Analysis: Though he's now gone four straight games without a touchdown, Hyde has surpassed 100 yards from scrimmage in consecutive weeks after averaging just 57 over his previous four outings. Though rookie Matt Breida remains a threat to his workload, San Francisco's top back is still averaging over 18 touches per game.

|Oct. 29, 2017 2:53 PM PT3:53 PM MT4:53 PM CT5:53 PM ET21:53 GMT5:53 2:53 PM MST4:53 PM EST3:53 PM CT1:53 UAE (+1)17:53 ETNaN: - Carlos Hyde ran for 25 yards on 12 carries Sunday in the San Francisco 49ers' 33-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He added four receptions for 22 yards.
Analysis: Hyde averaged less than 2.3 yards per carry for the third time in four games. He caught only four of nine targets after catching four of eight last week. With rookie Matt Breida getting more involved in the offense, including a 21-yard TD catch on a shovel pass Sunday, Hyde's days as a fantasy standout could be numbered.
|Oct. 22, 2017 3:49 PM PT4:49 PM MT5:49 PM CT6:49 PM ET22:49 GMT6:49 3:49 PM MST5:49 PM EST5:49 PM CT2:49 UAE (+1)18:49 ETNaN: - Carlos Hyde ran for 68 yards on 14 carries Sunday in the San Francisco 49ers' 40-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He added four receptions for 20 yards.
Analysis: Hyde bounced back after totaling 39 rushing yards on 21 carries in his previous two games. He's being a solid receiver with 27 catches for 162 yards on the season.
|Oct. 15, 2017 1:53 PM PT2:53 PM MT3:53 PM CT4:53 PM ET20:53 GMT4:53 1:53 PM MST3:53 PM EST3:53 PM CT0:53 UAE (+1)16:53 ETNaN: - Carlos Hyde ran for 28 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries Sunday in the San Francisco 49ers' 26-24 loss to the Washington Redskins. He added five receptions for 47 yards.
Analysis: A pretty mediocre day on the ground was saved by the two TDs and an impressive contribution in the passing game.
|Oct. 8, 2017 7:47 PM PT8:47 PM MT9:47 PM CT10:47 PM ET2:47 GMT10:47 7:47 PM MST9:47 PM EST9:47 PM CT6:47 UAE (+1)22:47 ETNaN: - Carlos Hyde ran for 11 yards on eight carries Sunday in the San Francisco 49ers' 26-23 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He added one reception for seven yards.
Analysis: A lingering hip injury clearly had an effect on Hyde, who played sparingly during the second half and was routinely bottled up when he was on the field. The workhorse back was averaging more than 20 touches through the first four weeks, so his health is obviously something fantasy owners need to monitor going forward.
|Oct. 5, 2017 2:39 PM PT3:39 PM MT4:39 PM CT5:39 PM ET21:39 GMT5:39 2:39 PM MST4:39 PM EST4:39 PM CT1:39 UAE (+1)17:39 ETNaN: - Hyde (side) was limited on Thursday after playing Sunday, as was his backup Matt Breida, who's working through an ankle injury.
Analysis: Hyde should be able to go this weekend, but keep an eye on this situation.
|Oct. 1, 2017 5:26 PM PT6:26 PM MT7:26 PM CT8:26 PM ET0:26 GMT8:26 5:26 PM MST7:26 PM EST7:26 PM CT4:26 UAE (+1)20:26 ETNaN: - Carlos Hyde ran for 68 yards on 16 carries Sunday in the San Francisco 49ers' 18-15 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He added five receptions for 27 yards.
Analysis: Hyde's 12 receptions through the first three games were the most by a 49ers running back since Frank Gore had 22 during the first three games of the 2010 season. Hyde added five more catches Sunday and already has 17 after he had 27 in 13 games last season. He's on pace to set career highs in virtually every offensive category.
|Sep. 28, 2017 3:38 PM PT4:38 PM MT5:38 PM CT6:38 PM ET22:38 GMT6:38 3:38 PM MST5:38 PM EST5:38 PM CT2:38 UAE (+1)18:38 ETNaN: - Hyde is active for Sunday's game versus the Cardinals after being limited in practice because of a hip issue.
Analysis: He played through the hip problem last week to rush for 84 yards and two touchdowns, so Hyde remains a must-start if he's active.
|Sep. 21, 2017 5:26 PM PT6:26 PM MT7:26 PM CT8:26 PM ET0:26 GMT8:26 5:26 PM MST7:26 PM EST7:26 PM CT4:26 UAE (+1)20:26 ETNaN: - Hyde left Thursday night's game briefly due to a hip injury.
Analysis: He returned in the second quarter and appears to be OK.
|Sep. 21, 2017 8:58 PM PT9:58 PM MT10:58 PM CT11:58 PM ET3:58 GMT11:58 8:58 PM MST10:58 PM EST10:58 PM CT7:58 UAE (+1)23:58 ETNaN: - Carlos Hyde ran for 84 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries Thursday in the San Francisco 49ers' 41-39 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He added three receptions for 10 yards.
Analysis: Hyde received a heavy workload despite sitting out part of the first half with a left hip injury, and didn't appear to be at all limited after returning. With 46 touches the last two weeks and Kyle Shanahan's track record of producing strong rushing attacks, the Ohio State product should be locked in as an every-week starter.
|Sep. 17, 2017 4:57 PM PT5:57 PM MT6:57 PM CT7:57 PM ET23:57 GMT7:57 4:57 PM MST6:57 PM EST6:57 PM CT3:57 UAE (+1)19:57 ETNaN: - Carlos Hyde ran for 124 yards on 15 carries Sunday in the San Francisco 49ers' 12-9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He added three receptions for 19 yards.
Analysis: San Francisco got 98 rushing yards from Hyde in the second quarter alone to set up two Gould field goals that tied the score. Hyde had 102 rushing yards on seven carries in the first half. He should carry the load for the 49ers while he's healthy.
|Sep. 10, 2017 6:32 PM PT7:32 PM MT8:32 PM CT9:32 PM ET1:32 GMT9:32 6:32 PM MST8:32 PM EST8:32 PM CT5:32 UAE (+1)21:32 ETNaN: - Carlos Hyde ran for 45 yards on nine carries Sunday in the San Francisco 49ers' 23-3 loss to the Carolina Panthers. He added six receptions for 32 yards.
Analysis: Hyde tied a career high with six catches and was working on a very productive day before the 49ers abandoned the run in the second half with a big deficit. It likely will be tough for Hyde to put up better numbers next week in Seattle.
|Aug. 12, 2017 11:39 AM PT12:39 PM MT1:39 PM CT2:39 PM ET18:39 GMT2:39 11:39 AM MST1:39 PM EST1:39 PM CT22:39 UAE14:39 ETNaN: - Hyde had no carries for two yards in the 49ers' preseason opener Friday.
Analysis: The 49ers will likely give Hyde a limited workload in the preseason considering his injury history and that he's expected to be their workhorse this year.
