Oct. 15, 2017 6:52 PM PT7:52 PM MT8:52 PM CT9:52 PM ET1:52 GMT9:52 6:52 PM MST8:52 PM EST8:52 PM CT5:52 UAE (+1)21:52 ETNaN: - Ben Roethlisberger was 17 of 25 for 252 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 19-13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked one time.
Analysis: Big Ben bounced back from a dismal five-interception game last week against Jacksonville with a much better performance. He it Antonio Brown on eight of his 17 completions and completed a season-high 68.0 percent of his passes. Still without a multiple-TD game since Week 2, Roethlisberger has another tough matchup next week against the Bengals.
Oct. 8, 2017 3:34 PM PT4:34 PM MT5:34 PM CT6:34 PM ET22:34 GMT6:34 3:34 PM MST5:34 PM EST5:34 PM CT2:34 UAE (+1)18:34 ETNaN: - Ben Roethlisberger was 33 of 55 for 312 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 30-9 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He threw five interceptions, didn't fumble and was sacked two times. Roethlisberger added one rushing yard on one carry.
Analysis: The Steelers' offense couldn't recover as Roethlisberger finished with a passer rating of 37.8, his worst at Heinz Field since a 30.7 rating against the Cincinnati Bengals early in the 2006 season. He took the blame in the locker room -- repeatedly saying "I need to play better."
Oct. 1, 2017 2:50 PM PT3:50 PM MT4:50 PM CT5:50 PM ET21:50 GMT5:50 2:50 PM MST4:50 PM EST4:50 PM CT1:50 UAE (+1)17:50 ETNaN: - Ben Roethlisberger was 18 of 30 for 216 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 26-9 win over the Baltimore Ravens. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked one time.
Analysis: Roethlisberger wasn't great, though he didn't need to be on a day in which the Steelers rode Le'Veon Bell and their defense to a relatively easy victory. The trusty veteran has posted solid yet unspectacular totals of 957 yards and six touchdowns through four games, and he gets a potentially tough matchup at home against the Jaguars in Week 5.
Sep. 24, 2017 4:36 PM PT5:36 PM MT6:36 PM CT7:36 PM ET23:36 GMT7:36 4:36 PM MST6:36 PM EST6:36 PM CT3:36 UAE (+1)19:36 ETNaN: - Ben Roethlisberger was 22 of 39 for 235 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 23-17 loss to the Chicago Bears. He did not throw an interception, fumbled once and was sacked three times. Roethlisberger added six rushing yards on one carry.
Analysis: Roethlisberger blamed himself for Pittsburgh's loss. "I think I was off today," he said after throwing for 235 yards and a touchdown. "For whatever reason, I did not make all the throws I normally would and make the plays I normally should."
Sep. 17, 2017 1:21 PM PT2:21 PM MT3:21 PM CT4:21 PM ET20:21 GMT4:21 1:21 PM MST3:21 PM EST3:21 PM CT0:21 UAE (+1)16:21 ETNaN: - Ben Roethlisberger was 23 of 35 for 243 yards and threw two touchdown passes Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 26-9 win over the Minnesota Vikings. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked two times.
Analysis: Roethlisberger has posted remarkably similar numbers in both games so far. He doesn't seem quite in sync with his weapons yet, but perhaps next week against the Bears he will be.
Sep. 10, 2017 1:27 PM PT2:27 PM MT3:27 PM CT4:27 PM ET20:27 GMT4:27 1:27 PM MST3:27 PM EST3:27 PM CT0:27 UAE (+1)16:27 ETNaN: - Roethlisberger passed for 263 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in the Steelers' 21-18 win over the Browns.
Analysis: It wasn't a spectacular debut by Roethlisberger, who had little help from the ground game, but he should have better games than this.
Apr. 7, 2017 11:00 AM PT12:00 PM MT1:00 PM CT2:00 PM ET18:00 GMT2:00 11:00 AM MST1:00 PM EST1:00 PM CT22:00 UAE14:00 ETNaN: - Roethlisberger isn't quite ready to head off into retirement, announcing on Twitter Friday that he's told the Steelers he plans to be under center in 2017.
Analysis: The two-time Super Bowl winner, who turned 35 last month, hinted after Pittsburgh's loss to New England in the AFC championship game that he needed to take stock before committing to returning. Though everyone from coach Mike Tomlin to general manager Kevin Colbert to team president Art Rooney II believed Roethlisberger would be back, Roethlisberger kept quiet publicly until Friday. Roethlisberger passed for 3,819 yards and 29 touchdowns last season.
