Analysis: An MRI exam on Friday revealed the severity of the injury after Rodriguez complained of elbow soreness, the Dallas Morning News reported. Team physician Dr. Keith Meister prescribed six weeks of rest and an injection of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) for the 25-year-old Rodriguez, a first-round draft pick in 2013. ¶ Expected to compete for a spot in the back of the starting rotation this spring, Gonzalez has been knocked around for eight earned runs and 12 hits.
