Analysis: Coach Stan Van Gundy said Johnson's back was bothering him after playing 40 minutes in Wednesday's season opener. At least that would explain him going 0 for 13 from the field. Though it's a good sign Johnson is playing Friday, it would seem possible his minutes are limited if the Pistons also want him to play Saturday in New York.
