Analysis: Fultz has played in each of Philadelphia's four games and is averaging 6.0 points on 9-of-27 shooting. His free-throw shooting has also been poor as he has made just 6 of 12 attempts.

Analysis: Fultz, the first overall pick in the 2017 draft, is showing his age in the early going, according to coach Brett Brown. "He's a great person, he wants to be coached, it's just life in real time in the NBA at 19 can catch lots of people off guard," Brown said.

Analysis: Fultz got to make his NBA debut close to his home near the D.C. area suburbs. While there's all kinds of upside with Fultz, he's clearly not completely over the shoulder and knee injuries he battled during the preseason. As he gets healthy, Fultz will get more minutes and the production should follow.

Simmons, who missed all of last season recovering from a broken foot, showed his versatility with six points, nine assists and seven rebounds. He shot only 2 for 8 and Fultz was worse at 2 for 13, finishing with four points in his first game.

Analysis: Fultz suffered the injury in Saturday's game against the Warriors in Vegas, but it's not believed to be as serious as initially thought. Given the history of injuries to their recent top picks, no one will blame the 76ers for taking the safe approach here.

Fultz appeared to roll his ankle in the second half and was helped to the locker room by two teammates. Sixers summer league coach Lloyd Pierce said Fultz has been diagnosed with a sprained left ankle and "will be treated accordingly." Fultz will not play Sunday, but there is no timetable for his return to action.
Analysis: It was the last thing the Sixers wanted to see just when they appeared to be ready to put years of misery behind them. They have dealt with significant injuries to center Joel Embiid and last year's No. 1 pick, Ben Simmons, over the last three years.
