Bishop, one of Dallas' key offseason additions, was quickly attended to by the Stars training staff and left the ice under his own power.
Analysis: Bishop stopped all 19 shots before departing in his first game with Dallas. After the game, Dallas coach Ken Hitchcock said the injury was not serious. "He's fine," Hitchcock said. "We were directed to keep him out. He'll be fine (Saturday)." Bishop went through and cleared NHL concussion protocol.
