Analysis: For the first time in his four games, Jagr played right wing on the Flames' top line with Sean Monahan and Johnny Gaudreau. Jagr now has a point in back-to-back games after failing to get one in his first two. The 45-year-old nearly recorded his first goal with Calgary, but Scott Darling made a terrific glove save on his shot near the net.

Analysis: Although he didn't record a shot on goal during his 15 shifts, Jagr spent time on the power play and earned more ice time than coach Glen Gulutzan initially planned to give him.
Oct. 7 1:34 PM PT2:34 PM MT3:34 PM CT4:34 PM ET20:34 GMT4:34 1:34 PM MST3:34 PM EST0:34 UAE (+1)16:34 ETNaN: BRT - Jagr wants more time before making his debut with the Calgary Flames. The 45-year-old right wing decided not to play in Calgary's home opener Saturday night against the Winnipeg Jets.
Analysis: After arriving Wednesday from the Czech Republic, Jagr had two practices and the pregame skate Saturday with his new team. Coach Glen Gulutzan said when Jagr plays the first game of his 24th NHL season is his decision. Second only to Wayne Gretzky in NHL scoring with 1,914 points, Jagr signed a one-year, $1 million contract with the Flames. If he plays 57 games, he'll pass Gordie Howe's record of 1,767.
